All classes are single workshops, unless specified.
Payment is required at time of booking.

Learn to Machine Quilt
(Beginner's Quilting)

Cost: $80 (includes kit)
* Quilting Consultation will be at 10.30 for morning class and 6.30 for evening class.
If your sewing machine can do a free motion stitch (most do), then you can free motion quilt!
All you need is a walking foot and a quilting/darning/pogo foot.
It is soooo easy once you know how.
After just ONE session with Joy you will achieve amazing things.
Joy will teach you how it's done, all the tips and tricks as well as show you how to work out what quilting your projects need.
You'll save so much money by quilting your own quilts.
This is one class you definitely don't want to miss.
Class includes all requirements (kit), so just bring your machine!
You will need a WALKING FOOT and a POGO/QUILTING/DARNING FOOT to complete this class.
Joy will also be offering an Individual Quilting Consultation, which will run for half an hour, during class times.

Sit 'n' Sew

Don’t get time to sew at home? We have the answer! Bring along your unfinished projects (hand or machine) to our Sit ‘n’ Sew session and enjoy the company of other stitchers. Come monthly to help you complete your Block-of-the-Month's! A great excuse to get out of the house and get motivated! Supper and nibblies, wine and tea/coffee provided.

Playing with Paper Club

A once per month social gathering where we will create this 'scrappy' quilt, and in the process you will learn all the tricks and tips behind the fabulous English Paper Piecing technique. This quilt is great for using up those small pieces of fabric you just can't throw out.

Patchwork skills a little rusty, or always wanted to learn this fun craft?? Come and learn all the basics of patchwork in a one off class – no monthly commitments!! You’ll learn all thebasic steps of cutting, measuring, sewing, quilting and pattern reading. A great class to start your creative juices!
All materials supplies - just bring your machine (with instruction book and accessories box) and let’s begin!

Once you create one, you won't be able to stop! These girls are ADDICTIVE! We will show you how to create your own gorgeous doll, a perfect gift, heirloom or just for yourself to use precious doilies, jewellery and fabric. "Prue" by Debbie Magee is a great doll to start, showing you all the techniques needed to create any doll.
