Due to shop committments in the next few months,
we have a very limited CLASS LIST.
However, if there is a specific class you are interested in, please contact us as we may be able to organise a time. We will resume regular classes in October 2010.

Sit 'n' Sew
Dates: Friday 16th July
Time: 7pm - Midnight
Cost: $15
Don’t get time to sew at home? We have the answer! Bring along your unfinished projects (hand or machine) to our Sit ‘n’ Sew session and enjoy the company of other stitchers. Come monthly to help you complete your Block-of-the-Month's! A great excuse to get out of the house and get motivated! Warm winter supper and nibblies, wine and tea/coffee provided.

Let's Begin Patchwork
Cost: $30 inclusive
Patchwork skills a little rusty, or always wanted to learn this fun craft?? Come and learn all the basics of patchwork in a one off class – no monthly commitments!! You’ll learn all the basic steps of cutting, measuring, sewing and pattern reading. A great class to start your creative juices! All materials supplies - just bring your machine and let’s begin!
Raggy Quilt
Cost: $35 includes pattern
A quick and simple raggy look quilt - Now it's getting chilly, a great way to use flannels for a cozy winter quilt! Learn the quilt-as-you-go method, making this both a stylish and economic quilt and completely done yourself, from start to finish. Great quilt for beginners or those not wanting an extra quilting cost!

Beginner Doll Making
Cost: $30 includes pattern
Once you create one, you won't be able to stop! These girls are ADDICTIVE! We will show you how to create your own gorgeous doll, a perfect gift, heirloom or just for yourself to use precious doilies, jewellery and fabric. "Prue" by Debbie Magee is a great doll to start, showing you all the techniques needed to create any doll.
Quilt-As-You-Go Techniques
Cost: $20
During this 'economic crisis' we all need to watch our money, but it shouldn't mean having to cut back on the thinkgs we love...... patchwork - so we have the perfect solution! Join us for our QUILT-AS-YOU-GO Demonstraion, showing you how to save on quilting costs, by quilting your quilts at the same time as sewing the top. We will show you different techniques and provide notes so you can apply it to as many of your quilt patterns as possible. Then you can truly say, "I did it ALL myself!"
